Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Vestibular therapy is a highly specialized field within physical therapy. As a vestibular rehab therapist, I have undergone extensive training that goes beyond the doctoral education required to become a physical therapist. This additional training has equipped me with in-depth knowledge about the structure and function of the vestibular system in the inner ear, its connections to various regions of the brain, and its interactions with other bodily systems such as balance, vision, hearing, and sensation. Additionally, I have pursued advanced training in specific vestibular diagnoses, vision therapy, and neurological rehabilitation.

  • In California, you have direct access to physical therapy, which means you can see a physical therapist for evaluation without needing a referral. This is great news because it allows for quicker treatment when you're injured without having to wait for a doctor's referral. If, however, you don't see any progress within 45 days or 12 visits, your Physical Therapist will need to refer you back to a physician.

If you intend to seek reimbursement from your insurance, it is important to note that some insurance companies may require a referral or pre-authorization for subsequent physical therapy treatments, and there may be a maximum limit on the number of visits per year. It is advisable to inquire with your insurance provider about their specific requirements.

  • Description Please ensure that you have completed and emailed all necessary paperwork. Remember to bring your medication lists and form of payment to your first appointment. We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting or stretchy clothing and running/walking shoes.

  • We will provide everything. You just need to provide space for a treatment table.

  • We have a contract with Medicare, and many Medicare Advantage plans can be billed directly. For clients with commercial plans, we will provide a super bill/receipt containing all the necessary information to file a claim with your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. After meeting your out-of-network deductible, your insurance may reimburse your claim.

We recommend contacting your insurance company to check your out-of-network benefits before starting therapy. While we cannot guarantee reimbursement for out-of-network claims, we can provide additional information to insurance companies to assist you in obtaining reimbursement.

We accept various forms of payment, including cash, checks, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.

  • Yes!

Please contact us to discuss your insurance information. We will handle billing Medicare for your therapy. While we are not contracted with Medicare Advantage plans, many plans offer out-of-network benefits. We will review your out-of-network coverage to determine if they will provide full or partial payment. Most PPO plans have excellent out-of-network benefits and typically cover a significant portion of the service. HMO plans are usually out-of-network, which would require payment at the time of service. Rest assured, we will verify your insurance benefits for you.
